Non-profit teaching farm located at historic coastal dairy perched above the ocean in the Marin Headlands within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) in California.Since 1970, Slide Ranch staff operates the working farm using a turn of the century farmhouse, old creamery and several outbuildings. Organic gardens, goats, sheep, chickens and ducks, along with coastal trails, tide-pools and pocket beaches, teach about healthy foods, healthy living and environmental awareness. Family, group and summer day camp programs and hands-on education activities.
